XS isn't XS. I'm a UK size 6-8 and it swum on me. The heating might be good (I have the Ororo handwarmer and it's lovely) but with no small enough sizing to have it more snug against you, you can't feel the heat.
Lovely gilet and so comfortable to wear. Heats up so quickly and in the perfect positions for full body coverage. Love wearing it
I am extremely disappointed with this item. The size M is barely suitable, runs far too small, and the material is very thin. It is also extremely difficult to arrange a return, as there appears to be no option to do so. Overrated and overpriced!!
Very thin, not as expected and over priced.
This jacket is pure bliss in the Canadian fall and winter. Only downside is the arms are a bit shorter than I prefer and I would love to see it in an xxl. The xl fits well but snug with a larger weather underneath. I would totally buy a second one if they made a 2xl!
This is my 2nd heated vest from ororo. The first one I had for over 4 years and unfortunately the button broke, so I ordered this one to replace it. The vest I had before was their women's classic vest, I wanted this one because it looked better for layering as I found I wore my previous one under a jacket to hold in the heat better. I love that this one is a tiny bit slimmer looking and the colouring on the trim gives it a fancier look. The pockets unfortunately are quite small compared to my previous one. Aside from that it looks and feels great! I am going to be a life long ororo heated clothing purchaser. Can't survive winters without my heated vest!
I got a size XS and I am about 110lbs and 5'4" for size reference.
Bought a heated gilet for my golf. Gilet is very comfortable and not bulky at all. Today was the first time I used it on the golf course. Started with medium heat for 1.5hrs, it was lovely and kept me so warm in a cold windy day. After 1.5hr, I turn it up to max heat, it only lasted another 30 mins or so before the battery is dead and no more heat! I would say this is the downside of this product. It’s not idea to have to change battery in the middle of a golf game. Wish the battery can last longer and max heat. At least 4 hrs with a round of golf. This is the only dissapointed bit of my purchase.
Can’t even use as it’s not compatible with my ororo heated vest
Coat was good while it worked, but the battery died within 18 months, so pretty poor value and quality. Note that this is outside the 1 year warranty period for the battery, so now I have to spend another £100 on a new battery pack.
This jacket arrived quickly. It will keep me warm while watching my grandkids hockey games this winter.
I love my new heated vest. Since I live in a very wet climate and have an active dog, this will be perfect for under my raincoat all winter and spring. Heated clothing feels like a dream, made just for me.
Not enough panels to keep you warm. You don't tend to go out with your hands in your pockets. You wear gloves so those heated pockets are a waste. Your neck gets too hot with a little neck heater and the top ones are insufficient. They need to be all the way down your back and on your chest. Men's range has much larger heating areas. Also needed to buy a much larger battery for it which then makes the jacket heavy to wear
I absolutely love these liner gloves and have 2 pairs. I use them for snowshoeing and they are a game changer. I use them on their own (not under other gloves). Don’t get discouraged by the low-star reviews, get them!
The battery lasts 2.5 hours on high, but I could not feel heat on my shoulders or front unless I put my hands in the pouch; I bought this for work, so I cannot keep my hands in the pouch. The battery will not charge if it is dead and you just plug it in; you need to push the button for it to charge. Found this out the hard way.
Bought this to help keep my back loose when playing golf in cooler temperatures. It works very well, but a second battery is needed as it did not last the entire round.
Got for my husband with chronic kidney disease, with winter coming he is chilled all the time. He loves this new vest, the heat it delivers and the ease of the settings!
After just two years of normal use, the power button on my ORORO heated jacket failed, making the heating function completely unusable.
Despite providing proof of purchase and a video of the defect, ORORO refused to repair or replace it, citing their one-year Amazon warranty. Interestingly, they offer a three-year warranty when purchasing through their own website.
But why should the same product have such different warranty coverage depending on where it's purchased? Regardless of the sales channel, a heated jacket should last more than two years.
Shouldn't a company stand behind the quality and durability of its own products? Even if the written warranty has expired, shouldn't ORORO at least offer to repair a failed component rather than simply encourage customers to buy another jacket? A heated jacket should last more than two years, and a manufacturer should take responsibility when its product's essential function fails prematurely.
A warning to potential buyers: Based on my experience, the heating function could fail after just two years of normal use, leaving you with a jacket that no longer serves its intended purpose.
Very disappointing product durability and after-sales support.
As a mom of three in Canada, I’m always outside, school runs, errands, late shifts, and this vest has been a total game-changer. It heats up in seconds and keeps my core and back warm without the bulk of a heavy coat. I love that I can wear it alone on milder days or layer it under a jacket when it’s freezing.
The three heat settings are easy to use, and the battery lasts long enough to get me through a full day of being out and about. It’s lightweight, fits true to size, and the stand-up collar is a nice touch for keeping my neck warm.
Would I recommend it? Absolutely. It’s become my go-to for chilly mornings and long days out. If you hate being cold but hate bulky layers even more, this vest is worth it.
Great heated jacket. I was lucky enough to be one of the first people to purchase this jacket. A cosy warm coat even when not using the heat settings. Fantastic for beating the cold winter chills.
